GENERAL INFORMATION

The University of Rochester is partnering with Academic Programs International (API), an organization with more than 20 years of experience supporting undergraduate students around the world, to offer housing to students in Shanghai. API offers University of Rochester students the option to live in local student accommodations. Prices vary depending on housing type.

As a University of Rochester student, you join a diverse community in a dynamic city. We encourage students unfamiliar with Shanghai, particularly first-year students, to take advantage of student housing. Program housing includes internet, maintenance services, and 24/7 emergency lines. No guarantors are needed, as API handles all of the housing arrangements.
